Now I get it!
It's the same old same old and worse than I thought. How could I not have known that Obama and crew would see this as an opportunity to get their climate change/energy legislation through Congress!!
I just learned that the address the President will give tomorrow night will include the rationale that this catastrophe cries out for immediate passage of a comprehensive climate/energy bill...like Kerry-Lieberman perhaps,which is conveniently available. Another crisis to be taken advantage of! And without any damage to Democrats!
Obama is trying now, having allowed the damage, to step in, step up, claim the high ground and "feel the Gulf's pain".
What a sad and tragic joke. But it won't play in Peoria!
