The Worst of the Many

Problems abound, that's a given. Sometimes too many problems at the same time hinder the solution of any.It pays, therefore, to prioritize.

For me there is no contest: the largest problem we face is the cavernous divide between the people of this country. A division based, I believe, predominantly on misconceptions. Be that as it may, we are left with no common truth. We have no source available to all that all have faith in. We go to different sources for our truth, and almost inevitably, find ourselves in opposition.

The common truth should be found in the press, in the other media and on the air.It is not there.The media is....

Iam abandoning this piece because I just, this minute, heard Glenn Beck say what I was about to write. Without an honest, unbiased press this country will founder.

Now I'm even more concerned.
