In my last posting I said that all of us are strung out on a line stretching from trust to paranoia with regard to the Obama administration. The truth is, I suspect, that we are divided nearly fifty/fifty along that that line. Call it half and half. Half of us trust this man, the other half doesn't.
The problem is, however, that if those of us who mistrust him are wrong, history will remember us with the snide laughter reserved for fools. If those who trust him are wrong, there will be serious consequences for all of us.
It is hard work staying informed today. Staying informed requires exposure to the varying views and actions current in the life of the country. To accomplish that I watch/listen to CNN,
ABC, Fox, and BBC. Daily I read the San Diego Tribune and the Wall Street Journal. Weekly I read The Economist. Based on this, I believe the country is in serious trouble. Important questions are being moved too quickly with crisis used as an excuse. Why? What's the hurry?
On 9-12 there will be a parade in Washington DC. If it serves the purpose, I believe violence may be foisted on innocents to make it appear that they originated it. I believe that there are games, long being played, that will soon reach their end, but that the winner is not yet certain. I do not understand why what I see is not visible to everyone, but accept that it is not. With that comes the hope that I could be wrong.
