Today, out of sheer frustration I think, I did something I never thought I would do. I called one of the Obama district offices and told the poor young soul who answered that I had a suggestion for the Senator. I told her about the blog, the open letter, and the last posting and suggested that she somehow let the Senator know about the missing Magic Word. She seemed rather confused; was I interested in his Senate office or his Presidential campaign? She clearly was part of the former. I think I panicked at that point because I was clearly blurring a line, so I rapidly disengaged and hung up.
I hate it when I chicken out! I will try again tomorrow with a different office and a new format.
