Electric cars. More "exciting" news on them them lately. Wonderful! Think what it will mean for the planet. But certainly not yet: there's that problem of of the way to power the electricity grid... and right now we're having a doozey of a near-national heat wave!
Today I am waiting to hear how the electric grid, which can hardly handle the present level of air-conditioning for the thirty three heat-suffering states, which also sees little hope of expanding given the war on coal production, can be expected to absorb the added summer drain of those thousands of electric cars we're being told to buy. I suspect I'll have a long wait.
This administration's right hand clearly has no idea what its left hand is doing,and the only leadership I see is the kind that takes you down the garden path!
