Just One Sentence!!!!

In a small World Update column on page eleven of my San Diego Tribune today I discovered this:

U.S.inmates convert to Islam, visit Yemen

Washington--U.S.law enforcement authorities believe as many as three dozen Americans who converted to Islam in prison have traveled to Yemen, possibly to train with al-Qaeda, according to a Senate report.

What?

Page eleven and one sentence? I want more! I demand more! They publish this in the back pages on a day when the country is focused on Massachusetts and no one notices.
Three dozen. That is potentially thirty six home-grown terrorists, and I use the word 'potentially' cynically. I mean, how many ex-cons take their holidays in Yemen?

Now to the point! Who were the Imams that converted them? Which prisons? What cities do they come from and now live in?

This must not be glossed over. We are all aware that radical Wahabbist Imams were flown in to head many of the hundreds of mosques set up by Saudi Arabia. We know they have been accessing the prisons for decades for converts. Prison officials must give religious counselors privacy, which means we have no idea what happens in these sessions. Now this Senate report.

I want more information immediately: visas? passports?! I hope whoever reads this will share my concern, and contact their Senators and Congressmen to get full disclosure on this truly earthshaking, page eleven revelation!
