Some things that happen provoke thought. And some things that don't happen can provoke even more thought. Not a word from Louis Farrakhan. Not a word for a very long time.
President Obama's neighbor and friend dropped from sight at almost the exact moment when Mr. Obama began his meteoric rise. Strange!
Mr. Farrakhan has never disliked the limelight, never shunned publicity. Why now, of all times? He should be basking in the glow. He is not.
Remember Louis? Remember that he took his muslim ministry into the prisons to recruit, did that for years. Remember his army of young, alert, educated and passionate associates coming on TV to extol the virtues of the clean, moral life they led? Don't forget them. I expect to hear from them soon.
