It took a week. It jelled with a thud: all the wishful thinking in the world will not alter what is.We have just joyfully ushered in the demise of what we were.
I'm not sure all of the people helping him understand where this is going. Obama is no messiah, but he is truly a wiz. Even as he appears to be governing from the center, everything he is doing will all too soon establish a virtual one party system with a permanentlly minority opposition.
This is all I'm going to say on this right now; there are other peripheral changes beginning that deserve attention. I want time to look at them and evaluate their importance to our future. I will be back with more in a day or two. Meanwhile, look at all this yourself and see if you agree with me. I would love to be wrong.
